Outdoorama is September 22
Join us for Outdoorama on the Rez this Saturday 8AM- 1PM at Turcotte Lab off Highway 43 at the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
In celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day, the purpose of Outdoorama is to get kids and anyone interested in the outdoors to step outside for a hands-on experience with the tools and concepts of hunting and fishing in Mississippi. They will learn how to shoot, reload shells, learn how to tie flies, fish for catfish, see elk horns, watch retrievers work, and so much more!
Make plans to attend this FREE event! For more information, or if you would be able to volunteer to help, please call Lindsey Lemmons at the Mississippi Wildlife Federation at 601-605-1790.
Special thanks to our sponsors: Academy Sports and Outdoors and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for supporting the program financially, Allied Waste for providing trash boxes, Bass Pro Shop for providing the BB Range, Canton Wholesale Bait for supplying bait, and Charles Glover for providing the food.
