Karen’s Pick-A-Pepper Pork Shoulder
from Bill Maily’s Kitchen
Take a fresh pork shoulder and cut slits in it. Insert slices of garlic into the slits. Salt and pepper the roast to taste. Place the roast in a baking dish and marinate it in a combination of a bottle of Pick-A-Pepper sauce and 8 oz. orange juice. Let the pork roast soak overnight.
Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees.
After the pork has marinated overnight, cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Cook the roast 30 minutes per pound. When the pork begins to pull off the bone, it is ready. If you have any leftovers, pull the pork off the bone and place it in a crock pot. Add your favorite barbeque sauce. This makes a great sandwich!
