April’s Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings

1 can Crescent Rolls

1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cut into 8 slices



1 cup sugar

1 tsp. cornstarch

1-12 oz. can Mountain Dew

1 stick butter, melted

Wrap apples in the crescent rolls and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.  Place in a dish.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and place in the pan with butter and the Mountain Dew. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil (stirring constantly).  Pour the melted, hot mixture over the apples rolled in the Crescent rolls.  Bake, at 350 degrees, in a pre-heated oven, for 30 minutes or until the rolls are browned on the top. This is simple, but just what the sweet tooth asked for! Enjoy!!
